Web or Deskto...What are you looking at JavaFx for? Web or Desktop applications?<br /><br />The one thing I really don't like about JavaFx is that it runs in an applet in the browser. Do you have any thoughts on the positives/negatives of that? Applets have been the root cause of many headaches everytime I try to work with them.<br /><br />I've been working with GWT a lot lately and one of the things I like about it is that it runs as native HTML/JS and you don't have to worry about the user having/allowing a plugin to run in their browser.
